The Place Charlestown Community Centre – Place Based Abilities Program

This social and capacity-building program is for young people who identify as neurodivergent, with groups for ages 10–16 and 17–25. Firstchance

Firstchance is a not-for-profit early-intervention service for children aged 0–12 with disability and/or developmental delay and their families. Its early-intervention, therapy, school-aged and transition supports are delivered in homes, early learning settings, schools and community environments across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Port Stephens. The community-based delivery model connects children and families with support in everyday settings.

The Place Charlestown Community Centre – Tuesday Club Inclusive Connections

Tuesday Club Inclusive Connections is a weekly school-term social gathering for seniors from Newcastle and Lake Macquarie. The group welcomes women, men, gender-diverse people and culturally and linguistically diverse seniors.
